Hi everyone! I am so glad I found this website since I missed the 10 year reunion. I am currently living in Chicago & have been here for five years. I miss California, but I am starting to get used to the Midwest even though it's a little to cold here for me! I come back to Bishop every Christmas & I love it.

I currently work as a marketing assistant for a company that recruits sales & sales managers for corporate companies. I have been married for 2 1/2 years to Vance who works in sales. No kids yet, but one little furry friend named Jonah. I would love to hear from any of my old classmates!

Erdtman, Laura (Wylie) - E-mail: lerdtman@worldnet.att.net

Wow! It has almost been 10 years already!! I don't know if very many people remember me, but I saw the website and figured I might as well write in. Anyway - I am currently living in Exton, PA (a suburb to Philadelphia). I am married to a wonderful Swedish guy named Joachim whom I met during my AFS year in Sweden right after graduation. Being an AFS exchange student was the greatest experience. I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe, meet lots of people from all different backgrounds and become fluent in Swedish (not to mention find a husband!!!!! haha!). Anyway, Joachim and I have been married for 6 1/2 years now and have a beautiful one year old daughter named Sofia. I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in `95 with a degree in History, but right now I am happy that I am able to be a full-time mom to our daughter. So - my "official" career is a bit on hold. Joachim has his own web-design home business, so we are both able to spend lots of time with Sofia. We don't get out to California much, but I'm hoping to make it out for our reunion...that is if we are having one. I haven't heard anything about it. If anyone has any info please forward it to me. Thanks.

Hammer, Erika (Arntsen) - E-mail: erikahammer@yahoo.com

My husband Mike just recently got a job teaching at San Francisco State University. So we are currently living in South San Francisco and loving it. We have a 9 month old son named Gabriel that I stay home and take care of. I don't miss work one bit.

I look forward to hearing from anyone from the Bishop area if you want to drop me a line.

Beaver, Jennifer (Dobbins-Smart) - E-mail: JennBeaver@Cheerful.com

If I had stayed my senior year I would have graduated in 1990. I graduated in Sacramento, CA but Bishop still feels like home. I got married in February of 1991 and lived in Sacramento, CA until 1998 when we moved to Clearwater Florida. We love it here with our two cats Guber and Ora and our dog Journey. My husband Chris is a computer programer with Tech Data (a large computer company) and I have been a consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics since May of 1991. September 30th, 1999 we had our first child. His name is Kaden Michael. I am loving being a mom.

Hotine, Stephanie (Wallace) - E-mail: srwhotine@hotmail.com

Hi everyone!

It's been a couple of years since the last update. My husband John and I are still in North Idaho, between Coeur d' Alene ID and Spokane Wa. Life has been full and busy. John and I have been married for almost 5 years. John's 3 kids (13,15,16) are all doing well and involved in everything from cheerleading to football.

Our big news for 2005 is that we have a new addition to our family! In August 2004 we started the process to adopt from China. In September '05 we got the call that we had a daughter! Her name is Avonlea and we travelled to China for 2 weeks in November to gather our precious daughter into our arms. She is now 15 months and the joy of our lives. She is full of smiles and is a very busy girl. We have a website detailing our trip with pictures. (Email me if interested.) I've taken a short hiatus off of work and plan to return to nursing on a very part time basis.

My family has long since left Bishop, though one of these days I'll come back, slap some boots on the baby, grab her Nemo fishing pole and hit a lake or two.

Looks like retirement is in the near future for my folks and the talk is they will move to Idaho as well. Brother Dave is in Eureka and sister Christine is in SLO.

Best wishes.

I was curious since we have all been out of school for 10 years, when is the reunion??

Hope everyone reading this is well.

Smith, Dawn (Zakar) - E-mail: draesmith@murrieta.k12.ca.us

The last time I wrote an update for this page I had newborn twins and lived in San Diego county. Much has changed!

Our twins, Emma and Grace, are now adventurous toddlers who keep us very busy. Emma is a girly-girl; she adores books, shoes, and our pug dog Ace. (He is very tolerant of her overly enthusiastic hugs and kisses.) Grace is very much like her dad; she is very sweet, a bit shy, but loves to keep busy. (She also has adorable dimples when she smiles.) Their big brother Matthew, my stepson, is in seventh grade (yikes!) and is slowly leaving behind the legos...he'd rather play basketball and listen to CDs. My favorite part of life is being a mother; I put my all into it, and consider my children to be my greatest blessings.

Jeff and I have been married for seven years. We recently decided to move to Murrieta (approximately one hour north of San Diego) because my family is also moving to the area (the twins will have Grandma and Grandpa right up the street!) and because it is more affordable than living in San Diego. We bought a cute, new house with a front porch and a view, and I just started my new teaching position at Murrieta Valley High School. I teach 9th and 10th grade English. It will be my sixth year teaching English and I enjoy the students and the work (can you call reading Romeo and Juliet work?) very much. Jeff works a late shift and spends the day with the girls so that we don't need day care. It works really well for us.

Jeff's parents are retiring in Bishop, so we'll definitely be visiting the area every so often. I must have my Amigos fix!

God bless, and may happiness and health follow you!

Then we moved back to Bishop in July 2002 and would like to hear from my HS buddies. I lost contact with many of you.

Wofford, Trina - E-mail: TNTWOFF@aol.com

Living in San Diego

Class of 1991

Allison, Missy - E-mail: melissaallison@yahoo.com

I've been living in San Francisco for almost 2 years, but, recently went on hiatus and have temporarily relocated to Kauai (I've left a boyfriend and kitty behind, haven't quite figured out the future yet, but, living day to day). I've been here just over a month and will be here at least through the Summer. I've dropped my career (the one I went to college for) in television, and have embarked on a new one into real estate investment with my mom. We're buying condo's, remodeling and decorating to sell as "turn-key" properties. It's been very fun, living in paradise isn't half bad :) Funny thing, today I ran into Kendall Lopez, she is working in the coffee shop I stopped in in Lihue.

I don't know where we're headed next, but, the San Diego area is sounding promising. I do plan to make the reunion, I read in Jeff/Katania's profile that it is set for October??? I haven't heard a thing about it. If anyone has any info, I'd be glad to get it. I'd love to hear from anyone. I'm kind of the new kid in town here, love getting email!

Baker, Adrianne - E-mail: ab_blue_1@yahoo.com

After graduation I moved to Idaho and bounced back and forth from there to Mammoth for a couple of years. My father moved to Mammoth in 91. I lived in Portland, OR for a while but could not stay away from Mammoth. I have lived here since 96 and plan to stay. My son Tyler was born in 97 and he is the joy of my life. Made me settle down and stop partying!!! I work at Vons and mostly just hang out with Tyler. I am a single parent and don't suggest anyone try it, it's hard but I do not regret my son! I hope to hear from anyone who wants to write!

Baroni, Stephanie (Ungersma) - E-mail: Mike_Steph12@yahoo.com

This website is great, a good way to stay in touch and check out things from times past. I graduated from Southwest College in San Diego with a degree in Nursing and work at Sharps Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit. I was married one month ago in a ceremony in Bishop at my moms house. (Some of you may remember the parties we once had there) My husband Mike will be graduating from the Miramar Law Enforcement Academy in Nov. and plans to pursue a job in the city until hopefully we can return to Bishop someday. We visit home quite often and are planning to have a family someday (soon)... Hope everyone is doing well..

Bennett, Laura and Leanna - E-mail: LHBennett@aol.com

I realized that people have actually read the information I put on this webpage over two years ago and decided to do an update. Much has changed since then....I now live in Sacramento, Ca and attend Sac State. I will finish (finally!) with a degree in Government at the end of 2000. It is very strange being a student again, but I am enjoying it. Leanna is now working for Kendall Jackson Winery in Sonoma County. It is a very well known winery in California. Someday she may get her own E-mail, but for now anyone wanting to contact here, feel free to let me know; I will pass it on.

It has been great hearing from people from the Class of '91!. I have to admit I am bit slow on the correspondence. Hopefully I will see everyone at the reunion (if we have one!). Take care!

Callahan, Jared - E-mail: jcallahan@esrcheck.com

What's up old people? What seems like yesterday also seems like a million years ago.

Here is what I'm up to: Married to the love of my life, Eileen, since '99. So far, have 2 great kids (Brennan, 4 and Emily, 5 months). Being a husband and dad is as great as I knew it would be. Work as a Sales Director for a pre-employment screening company. Live in the extreme northern Bay Area (you may also refer to it as the Wine Country).

My driver's license now reads -- Eyes: Hazel, Hair: Not Available (that's right, clean shaven baby). I still covet my BUHS days and crank up the Metallica and drink Keystone Lights when feeling sentimental. I live close to Gus Trevena and see him a couple times a week. His brother, Alex, also lives over this way.

I talk to Kyle West and Danny Nolan every couple of years and Booger D and I drop emails from time to time. Had a great time at the reunion and look forward to crossing paths with you all again soon. If ever in the Bay Area, or if you actually live in these parts, drop me a line at jcallahan@esrcheck.com.

Blessings from above,
Jared Callahan

Flynn, Brian - E-mail: Brianflynn@Juno.com

To all of you who remember me and to those of you who wish they never knew me, I hope all is well. For those of you who have no idea who I am, I was the giant, red-headed, nerd, who spent my entire high school career in Mr. Schultz's computer room with Don Guthrie.

Many years have passed since I wandered the halls of Bishop High School. Strangely enough, it does not seem like too much has happened since these days. Gone are the days of not being allowed to chew gum in class, not being able to cut across the field when running laps in P.E., and having to agonize over long, chalk-dust saturated lectures by Mr. Rowbottom.

After graduating from BUHS I moved to Bakersfield with Mike and Chris Holland (class of 89 and 90, respectively), both of whom have moved on with their lives. After spending a year in Bakersfield learning what "socialization" meant, I moved back to Bishop to become an Assistant Manager at Burger King and attended Cerro Coso Community College. The excitement and fun produced from living in this fashion was overwhelming, so I made a few changes.

In February of 1994 I got married to Denise Bryant and together we moved to the land of Bakersfield, again. Not having anything better to do, I decided to attend California State University, Bakersfield. In 1997 I received my Bachelors in Psychology and was inducted into Psy-Chi (The National Honors Society in Psychology), and in 1999 I received my Masters in Psychology. Call me crazy but some day I plan to go on to get my Ph.d.

Currently I am working at a clinic here in Bakersfield, one which sets the standard for mental health services in Kern County. The clinic is called, Henrietta Wiell Memorial Child Guidance Clinic. I am employed as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (I plan to be licensed in Jan. 2001). In other words, I am a psychotherapist, shrink, mind-manipulator, etc. And for those of you who are wondering, no I can not provide free services due to it being unethical to maintain duel relationships, sorry.

Denise is currently working at a Medical Group, as Lead of Medical Records. This basically means that she is in charge of Medical records, in addition, she is the right-hand-(wo)man to the office manager and spends most of her day overseeing the work habits (or lack there of) of those employed under her. She is slowly trying to get back into the school scene... however as many of you know, procrastination is easy to do when you are thinking about getting back into school.

Other than the above, we have basically turned out to be the average family, we own a home, two automobiles, two dogs, two cats, and a dump-truck load of debt. And due to the dump-truck load of debt, we have not had children yet, we can not afford them.

In closing, I would like to say that it is good hearing how many of you are doing, and If anyone is interested in dropping myself or Denise a letter, we can be reached at Brianflynn@Juno.com or at neesflynn@Juno.com. Good luck to all of you and perhaps we will see you all at a reunion some day (remember to keep your eye out for the giant, head-headed, nerd. Bye bye bye.

Ginder, Erin - E-mail: eringinder@hotmail.com

Hi all,

Well, it's been a rollercoaster couple of years. I moved from San Francisco to Southern California and began working for Miramax Films (a job I loved). I met my husband and we got married and in two years have had two wonderful babies (two under two)...a boy and a girl. I am now a stay-at-home mom and LOVE it. My husband owns a commercial and music video production company where he directs, as well as produces. We still live in Southern California...close to the beach and close to friends. I am still in veryclose contact with Carma Kennedy (Jones) and Trina Wofford (1990). I would love to hear from anyone else! My email is eringinder@hotmail.com

Are we doing a 15 year reunion???

This is a fun web site. Maury and I were married in January of 1993. We moved to Colorado for 5 1/2 years where Maury owned a sub trade company in log homes. Two years ago Maury accepted a position as a superintendent for a large custom home company in Scottsdale, Arizona so we moved to Phoenix. We have two beautiful children. A daughter who is almost three and a son who is just one week old. I stay home with them and take some accounting classes on the side. We return to Bishop about once a year since Maury and I both have family there. It's fun to come back and reminisce about our friendship, our childhoods, our classmates and our old friends. We wonder what so many of you are doing. Hope to see you in our upcoming reunions.

I found my year books and started feeling a little nostalgic and guilty because I've never contributed info to this great website. I can't believe it's been 17 years, are you all feeling as old as I am? Anyway, I'm married to a great guy; I have two beautiful kids Aydon, 5 and Isabela, 1. We live in the United Arab Emirates (some of you may have heard of Dubai) where I work for the Embassy. Take care and feel free to reach out...

Matthie, Suzi - E-mail: jpcalvin50@hotmail.com

Things have changed for me as I am sure they have for most of us. I am married to a wonderful man, Jon Madill.(I decided to keep my maiden name!) We met in college when he was on exchange from Pennsylvania. He is an outdoor fiend, so I have learned to recreate a lot more than I did! He in turn has come to appreciate the fine sport of snowboarding! Our son Morgan is 4 now. He is a doll who turned our ideas about life upside down! He goes to playschool one day a week and the rest of the week he keeps me on my toes! I never thought I'd be one to want to stay at home, but here I am, succumbing to the title of "Homemaker Extrodiaire"!

After high school, I spent my college years at Humboldt State University, in northern California. I got a B.A. in mathematics and went on to get a teaching credential in both secondary math education and elementary general education. Upon returning to Bishop I worked at BUHS as a part time cultural studies teacher and substitute. Boy what a treat to work with my old teachers! The following year I went on to fill in as a long term sub at Home Street Middle School. I was filling in for Mrs. Ebersole and working along side with Mr. Kennedy! That was a goal fulfilled for me! The 1999/2000 school year took me to our rival school in Big Pine. My husband and I job shared there. I taught 1 high school algebra class, and 1 middle school math class, as well as beginning Spanish. Jon taught 3 periods of middle school science. This year we are in Wyoming where I finally get to stay home with our son. I am devoting my time to Morgan and my church. Jon teaches science to middle and high school students now, and we are trying to figure out why the pay in Wyoming is so miserable for teachers!!

Anyone heard from Carl Snitzlaar or Melanie Haymond? A big hello to all of those from my past. Hope to hear from you.

Mischell, Jeff - E-mail: MYSCHELLZ@AOL.COM

Shields, Kevin - E-mail: whatupkev@hotmail.com

Hey gang,

Kevin Shields here. Wow, I'm glad to see that there are a lot of us still in touch. I currently live in the Reno/Sparks area, and have done so since '96. Sorry I missed the reunion but I will make the next. I graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College with an AA in architectural design and also an Associate degree in Graphic Communications. I am teaching a class part-time in architecture (not bad for a guy with a stutter huh?). Anyway I do get back to Bishop on occassion to visit family and friends. I do keep in touch with Thor Arntsen. I am still single and tend to stay that way for a little while.

Stone, Tucheh - E-mail: tucheh@yahoo.com

It's good to know that my fellow BUHS alumni are doing so well. I regret missing the 10-year reunion, but I had an obligation to the football team. I can't talk about sacrificing without backing up what I say with some action. If you become a coach, you will know exactly what I mean.

Long story made short, I lived in Sacramento for a long while after graduation, going to UC Davis and then Sac City College, and moved back here a few years ago. Sacramento is where everything came together for me, so I consider it my 2nd hometown after Bishop. That place and the people I knew there will always be special to me.

For the past year, I have been the Enrollment Officer for my Tribe, the Bishop Paiute Tribe. This has been my most rewarding job since having left the federal government in Sacramento. It isn't so much a job as it is time for me to talk with all of the various Tribal members who come into my office. I get paid to talk and listen to people -- how many people can say that? And how many people can say that they enjoy coming to work?

The best part about this job is that it has allowed me the time necessary to work on what I enjoy most -- football. Yes, I said football. I am now assisting with the Bishop Broncos, after a momentary lapse with Mammoth. This will be my 2nd season with Bishop. This is probably the most rewarding part of being here in Bishop and knowing that I am giving back to the community from which I received so much. Working with the guys is by far the most fun I could have. Getting to know them and seeing them progress from boys into men is a great thing that I can be a part of.

Anyway, e-mail me some time and we'll talk. Or you can use the AOL instant messenger and contact me at my sn: tucheh1. I'm free to chat almost any time -- outside of football season!

Amoroso, Leanne - E-mail: leannew@stanford.edu

Well, I figures since I enjoyed this web site so much I better give something in return.

As you can by the new last name that I am married. It will be a year Oct.6 My husband is wonderful and a high school history teacher. I on the other hand am on the other end of the spectrum. I am a chemist/health physicist at Stanford. I know, I know who would have thought. What you didn't know is that while I pretended to be wild I was a straight A student. My life took a very specific path. I attended college at Chico State and graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. I began to work on my Master's at Chico as well, but realized a year into it that it wasn't the program that I originally thought that it was. I still have yet to finish, but my career is moving along and I'm not sure if I want to put that on hiatus. I have no children and am not planning that portion of my life just yet. We live in the Bay area and are currently enjoying our careers, so we'll stick with that for now. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to chat.

Barnes, Rita - E-mail: Ritaleeb@Yahoo.com

Beck, James - E-mail: jawsmiley@hotmail.com

Hey everyone!

Greetings Class of 1992! Five years have passed since I last updated my message here. So much has happened since that time and the world seems to me like a different place... except for Bishop, of course. I returned to the US after over five years in Ukraine in August of 2002. I decided to pursue a graduate degree and moved to Brattleboro, Vermont to attend the School for International Training (www.sit.edu). All in all I spent 18 months in New England (Massachusetts and Vermont) studying for an MSc. in Organizational Management and trying to start a consulting firm with an Alumnae of my grad program. The venture failed or more specifically, the partnership failed and I moved to Washington, DC in February 2004.

I'm currently working for an international development company called Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) www.dai.com. I help manage new business proposals. Our primary client is the US Aid for International Development Agency. We have contracts in over 70 countries around the world. I have helped win $34.1 million in new business (in Bosnia and Madagascar) since starting here six months ago.

In October 2004 I will present and defend my research on social capital and how it effects community development projects in Ukraine. This represents the final leg in my grad program and I will soon be graduated!

I was in Bishop in July 2004 to visit grandparents, cousins, my brother. Mrs. Ladinig has retired and BUHS has lost a fantastic, dedicated person. We are fortunate to have sat in her presence and apply cucumber slices to her eyelids! (You will be missed!)

I live with my partner Robb (teacher and photographer: www.robbrye.com) and our two cats (who immigrated to the US from Ukraine) in the Mt. Pleasant area of Washington, DC.

What's Up BUHS CLASS OF 1992!!

I can't believe my little home town has got such a great web site built for our alumni- what a great idea!!!

It was a great trip down memory lane to scroll through the entries from the voices of my past. A lot has happened for me since I left the little town of Bishop, and it's great to see other people making strides through life as well. I feel somewhat out-paced however, as I am still very single, and kids seem like a faint mirage way down the road. ;)

Since Bishop, I've done my share of moving around- both in location a careers. I graduated from the Colorado School of Mines (small engineering school in Golden, Colorado) in the spring of 1996 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, and minors in Environmental Science and Business Management. It took four years of school for me to figure out that I didn't want to be an engineer, so after I graduated I went to work for Price Waterhouse in Chicago as a Financial Analyst. Chicago and finance were entirely new worlds to me and I embraced the change with open arms. I provided consulting services for the petroleum and chemical industries for a while, but as oil prices started to drop and the cold Chicago winter continued to drag on, I began to look out West.

I transferred to the San Jose office in September of 97 and began consulting in the High Tech industry. I learned a lot about business in the Silicon Valley, and the workings of the high tech industry and decided to make a run for it on my own in May of 98. With two other partners that I met through a mutual friend from Chicago, I helped start a new company here in the heart of the Silicon Valley. I'm afraid I can't talk much about the company until our official launch this summer, but it has been a fantastic ride. I've been working way to much, but I've been learning volumes along the way. Don't know if many of you remember the "How to Be Successful" workbooks from Home Street; but one of the 10 ways was "Be a Risk Taker". Strange how stupid things like that stick with you, but I'm glad it did.

If anyone's in the Bay Area and wants to grab a beer sometime- drop me a line sometime. If anyone's in the Bay Area and has large system network implementation experience, the beer is on me... we need to talk. :)

Wagener, Sarah (Collins) - E-mail: swagener@earthlink.net

Pete Wagener and I were married on 3-23-02 in Piedmont, CA and life could not be better (hence the new name!). We just sold our house in Alameda and are moving into the Oakland Hills in August. I am the Sr. Recruiter for the Commercial Organization at Genentech, Inc., a biotechnology company in South San Francisco. I absolutely love my job, with the exception of my commute, of course. Battling the Bay Bridge traffic everyday has certainly raised my patience threshold! James Smiley (James Beck) and I are still best friends and we are both planning on coming to the reunion in September. Hopefully we'll see you there!

Wow, this is awesome! Go class of 1992. I really have only kept in touch with a few of you, so it's great to read about our class. As for me, I graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1999, (it took me awhile), with a degree in Graphic Design. I then pursued a career in the entertainment industry which led me to evolve into a web developer. I now design and develop websites for Peter Green Design in Burbank, CA. I live in Hacienda Heights, Ca (about 20 min. from LA). I come to Bishop at least every 2 months, I can't seem to stay away from the awesome view, fresh air, water, and my family for too long.

As for my personal life, I'm engaged and plan to tie the knot in 2002. I would love to catch up more, so feel free to e-mail me, I'd love to hear from you.

Fink, Anne (Joos) - E-mail: jfink47@comcast.net

Time for an update. It seems like my life is in a constant state of flux but I guess I wouldn't know what to do with myself if it wasn't.

After graduation, I made an attempt at attending college. It didn't work out. Southern California had far too many distractions, I couldn't find a decent job, and my living arrangements (with my grandmother) were less than desirable. Not knowing what else to do and not wanting to move back to Bishop I joined the Air Force. Despite the fact that I do not regard those 6 long years as my finest, I do think it was the best thing that I could have done. I did a lot of growing up. I also met my husband, Josh.

In 1999 I left the Air Force and we moved to Josh's hometown of Baltimore, MD. Shortly after moving I gave birth to my son, Ian Christopher. I spent a little while at home with Ian while looking for work and waiting for him to be old enough to enroll in daycare. At the time I was only looking for something to pay the bills and did not think that where I was hired would lead to a career. I was hired at a local apartment community in May of 1999 as a receptionist for their Business Office. Since then I've been moved from the receptionist position to accounts payable in November of that same year, rent collections in June 2000, and finally to Assistant Community Manager in January 2001. Josh has been working for FedEx for two years now and loves it.

I think about going back to school and getting my degree all the time but work and family rarely allow for it. Additionally, since I live 3000 miles away from my family it seems like we're constantly saving for the next trip out. I haven't been back to Bishop since my brother graduated in 2000. Graduations are about the only time I make it to Bishop as most of the family, except Mom and my youngest sister, live in SoCal. Once my sister graduates there is no telling how often I'll make it back.

We recently bought a home in the Baltimore suburbs. Hopefully it will be the last time we move for a while. Ian is going to be 3 this year and boy is he a cutie. But underneath that halo of golden hair lurks two horns. What a little stinker. I've also found my way back to something I missed for a long time. I located a soccer league to play in finally. It seems that Lacrosse is the big thing in the area so finding a soccer team (at least a women's league) was harder than I thought it would be. I'm having a great time.

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at our class reunion this year. It would be nice to hear that there is actually one in the works - a tentative date would be great. In the meantime I'd love to hear from anyone.

Where has the time gone? I was looking at my entry and noticed how out of date it is. I graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in Dec. 1998 with a BS in Computer Science and minor in Statistics. I worked for the Bently Nevada Corporation from 1999-2003 and left shortly after General Electric bought the company. I bought a house in 2002 before the prices went insane and now work for the Washoe County District Health Department. Feel free to contact me!

How time flies… A year ago, I was single, making decent money, and living a block from the beach. Now I'm married, unemployed, and living in the land of grits and NASCAR freaks…

My wife, Tara, and I packed up our bags, and moved cross country to Durham, North Carolina, where I'm currently attending the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. And while I miss the warm temperatures and hitting the waves, I think my two years out here will be a good experience. I'm halfway done with the first year, and am knee-deep in the middle of a search for a summer internship. Tara teaches 6th grade math in Chapel Hill, a neighboring town. Other stats: No kids, one cat (hers) and one goldfish.

I was in Bishop last July to visit briefly, but haven't been back since then. I miss the days skiing at Mammoth! There isn't anything worth skiing out here.

Hope all is well with everyone. My new contact info is:

I was trying to find Mrs. Ladinig's email address on the BUHS homepage and actually found this cool site. I enjoyed hearing from those who contributed and I am definitely aware of how much more exciting your lives are than mine. I left BUHS to study at a community college in northern CA named Butte Community College. I wanted to transfer to Chico. I left in 1994 for a two year proselyting mission in Uruguay for my church (yes I am still morm boy). When I got back I decided to pursue a degree at Brigham Young University (the land of morm boys and morm girls). After several years of study, I finally graduated last semester (April 2000) with a degree in Conservation Biology. However, I intend not to use it and I am desperately trying to get onto any fire department in Utah. I currently volunteer with a full time department and a volunteer department. Other exciting news would include my future marriage this July to a lovely lady named Angie Francom. Not much else is going on. I would love to hear more about your lives. I find them so . . . interesting. Farewell.

Well its been along time since I've thought of when I graduated. Currently I am living in Fresno, Ca and am graduating this semester. About time huh!! I agree, but even though it's taken me awhile, I've had a good time along the way. I am also coaching basketball for a High School over here. I am in constant contact with troy mischelle, and that whole crew, and you all know who makes up that bunch of crazy souls. Oh, speaking of TROY MISCHELLE, he's getting married this summer. I am getting my teaching credential in special education. I am single, childless(well as far as I know, just kidding), and plan on keeping it that way or awhile. Well gotta go, I'm on my way to the lake to go waterskiing and toss back some cold ones.

Well, I see the class of 1992 is still kicking!

It was great reading how all of you are doing and hearing about where you are in life. It's good to hear that we're all forging ahead! As for me...college took me off to San Luis Obispo. I had a great time while I was there.?.partying, living, loving and growing up. I lived with friends from Bishop all the way through, and still keep in very close contact with all of them. I took some time off my junior year and even made it to Europe (at the time, Kent & Hazel weren't too excited about that!) It all worked itself out though; I survived and moved on!

I graduated in June of 1998 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Human Resources. Since then, I've moved to the Bay Area and am now working on a career in technology. (Technology with a Liberal Arts degree you say?..........whatever works!!) I'm now roommates with Cheeseman, so no need to worry, the Bishop influence is alive and well here in the Silicon Valley! I'm currently working for a staff-consulting firm called CLARIA Corp. We specialize in filling permanent technical staffing positions at young start-ups here in the Silicon Valley. The work is very challenging, yet very rewarding as well. (I still think I'd rather be in Canada snowboarding every day though!) As far as my personal life goes, I'm still fairly single with no children?..Let's just say I'm enjoying it while I can!!

Well I'm glad I was pointed to this page. It's been fun thinking about the old gang again. If any of you are ever in the Bay Area, please look me up and we'll grab a cocktail or three!

Where is?
Where are you all? I have lost track with almost everyone I went to school with. I would love to hear from you. You can e-mail me at cs_mac@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you!

MY LIFE...
Well, the first time I saw this page was a few years ago; so much has changed since then.

I graduated from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. I got my degree in education and from there went to teach in Palm Desert, CA. I taught 4th grade for a year and then ended up getting a job offer to train a reading curriculum program for a company based out of Baltimore, MD called Success for All.

Well, this turn of events landed me in New York! Wow, a long way from what I have called home my entire life. I live just north of the Bronx in Westchester County. I go to the city quite often, as I work with some of the lowest performing schools in the city. I am in a place I never thought I would be. What a trip!

I am living with my boyfriend who is a native New Yorker, who I actually met at a wedding in Lake Tahoe, CA. He is a cop in the Bronx. We have a cat named Wyatt and a fish named Malone.

Life is moving along nicely. I hope for all of you out there that things are going well; after reading about what is going on in your lives and getting various e-mails from you, it sounds like they are. I can't wait until the reunion. I'd love to see you all again.

Until we meet again best wishes everyone! I'd love to hear from you...

McPhail, Wendy (Weatherford) - E-mail: wendalia@nvbell.net

It was so great to see everyone at the reunion! Thank you Aimee for putting it together. Quick update on myself, I had a beautiful baby girl on August 22nd, her name is Haley and we are absolutely in love with her. She is such a blessing. I am a stay at home mom and I love it. I am still planning on getting my teaching credentials, but I'm in no hurry (as if I was before). If you ever get to Reno let me know and we can get together.

Lent, Bonnie (Murphy) - E-mail: jepipen@aol.com

Gosh, it has been so long since graduation so I'll start from 1992.

It's been a while since I've updated-I don't spend much time on my computer. Anyway, since the last update I HAD A BABY BOY!!!! We named him Chayton Tyler. He is the cutest, coolest little kid ever. He was born March 14, 2001. We just celebrated his first birthday a few days ago.

As for Jessie and myself not too much has changed. I am still in search of a Pharmaceutical Sales position, but it has been really tough. I am currently employed with a luxury apartment community as assistant manager. We live on site. Oh yeah, we still live in Reno. Jessie still works for Dreyer's Ice Cream and is now a manager and doing quite well. We don't get to Bishop very often these days, but we try to visit at least every 2-3 months.

I'm excited to read that everyone seems to be making it in this crazy world. I am sad to have lost contact with all my old school buddies. I have to admit I am bad at staying in contact. Thank god for this web-site. Well, our 10 year reunion is just around the corner. My how time flies. I hope someone has some plans in the works. I would love to help plan and make preparations for it. So please e-mail me whoever out there is doing it. I have heard that Troy Michelle may be doing something. So, Troy, please e-mail me if you want help!

Not much more to say. I will try to update as things change. Take care all!

Payne, Jesse - E-mail: jpayne4@prodigy.net

It has been a couple of years since I have updated my info so here it is. August 2001 I graduated from the radiologic technologist program here in Reno, NV and am working at Washoe Medical Center as a staff tech. I work in Trauma,ER,and Surgery and am really enjoying it. The best thing about my job is that I get four days off a week!! I plan on relaxing as much as possible and enjoying every minute of it while fishing, camping, and traveling. I hope you are all doing well.

Poole, Allison (Krohn) - E-mail: paul-n-alli@worldnet.att.net

Hi everyone....I've really enjoyed reading about your lives and wanted to share my life too.

Lets see...where to start. After high school, I moved to Rancho Cucamunga, CA and attended Chaffey Community College. That lasted for about 2 1/2 years and I became bored with school. Then I decided to go to a Vocational School to be trained in the airline industry. I graduated in Feb of 95 and was immediately hired on with Malaysia Airlines based out of LAX. During the two years that I worked for them, I was able to do a lot of traveling. I went back to Australia in 96 (that was weird.) and also got to travel to Canada, France, Greece, Malaysia, and Japan. Because I worked for the airline industry, all of these trips were free!! During this time I had also moved to Redondo Beach and lived there for a little over a year when I decided that I would like to try something else. Feb of 97, me and a friend moved to Las Vegas and the excitement began. Las Vegas is an amazing place to live because there is always something going on here. So I was working for a Grand Canyon tour operator and clubbing all the time when in Nov I met this really great guy. Well in Jan we were engaged, and in Aug of 98 we were married. For our honeymoon we took a European cruise starting in Amsterdam and stopping in Rome. In Jan of 99 I decided to go back to school to finish my degree and in April of that year, Paul and I bought our first house. I now work at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino as an Assnt. to the Director of Sales, received my Associates Degree from CCSN last May, and have started working on my Bachleor's Degree. Ultimately I want to obtain a MBA Degree.

Oh yeah, Paul and I also just found out that we are expecting our first baby at the beginning of next year.

I graduated from UC Davis, work as a software engineer and live in Berkeley. Just married, very grateful to have survived the lay-offs in my industry (so far) and enjoying life in the bay area.

Randleman, Michelle (Yanz) - E-mail: firebug_92@yahoo.com

Wow, I haven't been on here for awhile. Let's see, I guess I can say lots has changed. Since my last update we have moved a couple times. We have since moved to Umatilla, Or. to be closer to family. I have been working at Walmart almost 4 yrs. I am an unloader/instock. I do enjoy it most days haha. Great exercise. My husband Michael, is a stay at home dad at the moment, which works for me. We will be married 10 years July 4th. In 2004 we got custody of my husbands daughter, Heather, who is now 16. Anthony(previous marriage) is almost 14 and Elizabeth is 8. We sure do have our hands full. Life is great, not exactly what I expected but I couldnt be happier. I hope to get back in touch with my old pals. Its been along time. Take care.

Roberts, Aime (Banta) - E-mail: writeaime@hotmail.com

Thanks Anne, for showing me this site! WOW! How fun, a trip down memory lane and a recap on what's happening with some of you!

HHHHMMmmm, now my life in one email? Let's try.... August 18, 1992 I headed off to the US Air Force basic training, Lackland AFB, Texas, completed that in October then continued to Lowry AFB in Denver CO. Where I trained as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. (yes, nukes!) I graduated top of my class (and was the only female in the class) and was assigned to Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. I worked 45 feet underground with a TOP SECRET Security clearance, maintaining Nuclear Weapons and Warheads. I HATED IT!!

After serving only 2yrs total in the USAF, I asked for and received an HONORABLE Discharge. PHEW!

From there, my life went into a spin.. I unfortunately made a lot a careless choice, which ended a couple long term friendships I thought I'd never lose. This, all due to trying to live in the LA fast lane.. not my natural pace!

I moved back to Bishop, continued a less dangerous wild life with my now hubby, Kyle. Guess I felt I owed it to myself, since I was so sheltered in High School.

AGE 23 HIT! (seems so long ago now) and I knew I needed to CLEAN UP, and make some decisions. I wasn't getting any younger. Children became something I wanted, and decided to have.

My FIRST son, Damian, was born 9April, 1998. Since I wanted two, close in age, we planned soon for another one. On October 28th, 1999, my second, (and last) son Owen, was born.

Of my entire life, THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE was having my boys! They became my life, and are one of the MAIN reasons that my Husband and I have chosen a life of being STRAIGHT EDGE. (sober, clean, substance free!) Sorry, the only cold one for me you guys will be an Iced tea! :)

Next year will be our 10year graduation! I'm sure it will be great seeing you all! Be sure to bring your BRONCO PRIDE!! ( I'm just re-living the cheerleading days, forgive me!) But I'll be there for sure, I'll be the girl with all the TATTOOS!! :)

~HUGS~ from Bishop, CA. MULE CAPITOL of the WORLD! and me, Aime....

Shaver, Cyndi Bowles - E-mail: Cyndi_bear@msn.com

Hello! Although I did not graduate from BUHS I still thought it would be fun to update everyone on my life today since I attended the Bishop Public School System from K-11th grade. I know most of you anyway, and I really enjoyed reading about everybody's current life. My how we've all changed so much!!!

Well, I went to Palisades Glacier High for a few months when I was 16 and that didn't last too long. I actually ended up running away with my then boyfriend who is now my current husband of 11 years! We went to the LA area and lived in our car or with friends until I we were caught by the police about 3 months into our venture. I was arrested and shipped to San Bernardino Juvenile Hall for a couple of weeks and that was a HUGE turning point in my life. I realized that I didn't belong there. Although I had many problems at home with my parents, it was nothing compared to the life these girls in juvenile hall were living. Mothers that were prostitutes and fathers that were drug pushers. I was just a small town girl that was confused and probably a little bored!

After my release form juvi, Dwayne and I were married that same year in Las Vegas at the Mirage Hotel and Casino 4 days after I turned 17. Dwayne was 19. We had a quaint little wedding and started our new lives in So. Cal, where we lived for a couple of years. It was there that both Dwayne and I got our GED's and took some general college courses but we still had not found our "nitch" in life yet. We couldn't decided if we wanted to dedicate ourselves to working or partying, so we did a little of both. We eventually went back to Bishop for a short while where finding steady employment was next to impossible. Dwayne worked for The Fendon's for a few months as a sales person while I bounced around from job to job, unable to find solid work. I worked at Whisky Creek, Jack in the Box and finally, JC Penny's.

We tried living in Northern California for a while after that but, we got caught up in the Rave scene and we needed to find a less-stimulating environment to live in, so we could focus more on growing up.

We decided to leave the bay area and moved to Reno for better opportunity in 1995. We did pretty well and there we had our first child while living in Reno. Kyle was born in 1996. He is now 6 and is in the first grade.

We finally decided to settle here in Salem, OR in 1997 where we bought our first house. We have lived here for 3 1/2 years now. I love it! We are only 6 blocks away from Kyle's school and he rides his bike two and from everyday. We also have another boy, Cameron. He will be 2 years old in October.

I have been a stay at home mom now for the last 2 1/2 years. My life is pretty mellow.

I also assist Dwayne with his job since he works out of the home. He is an independent sales manager for a local spa company out of WA. I plan on going back to school in a couple of years once the kids are both in school full time. I'm planning on becoming a jr. architect.

I still sing but only at weddings and I have done a few funerals too. We have just switched churches so I'm hoping to join the choir soon.

I have also learned to play the acoustic guitar! What a chore that was! I'm still pretty rusty but it's a hobby that I really enjoy doing when I get some free time to myself. All in all, Dwayne and I were able to get the rebellion out of our system early so we could settle down sooner and have some peace and stability in our lives. My parents retired in Roseburg, OR which is only 2 1/2 hours south of Salem. I see them a lot now and we no longer have such an acrimonious relationship.

I also look pretty normal now too. No more black hair and punkish- goth clothes. I still color my hair a lot, it is currently bright red and I'm thinking of adding some blond to it. I do have a few piercings though...I guess I will never will grow up completely. I still have a funky style and probably always will...much more tame then 10 years ago however. My "butt-pirate" days are no more. (LOL)

I don't know if we are going to make it to the class reunion or not. I would sure like to go see everyone but we may have to wait for our 20 year reunion if this one doesn't go as planned.

Well...I'd love to hear from you! Please email me so we can chat.

Take care and God Bless...
Cyndi

Springer, Fred - E-mail: FredS@NV-ARNG.ngb.army.mil

When we graduated in 1992, I enlisted in the U. S. Army as a radio repairman. I spent a year in Germany and three years in Georgia. I got out of active duty in 1996, but I remained in the Nevada Army National Guard in Reno (one weekend a month).

I am currently living in Carson City, I am a civilian employee working for the Department of Defense as an electronic mechanic for the National Guard.

I go to Bishop every once in a while to visit the family. Usually I'll go out partying with Tito and occasionally Dan Morgan and Darren Maxey.

Stow, Becky - E-mail: becky_stow@yahoo.com

I've looked at this site for a while now, catching up on what everyone else is doing, but never sending in my own information. Now that the reunion is coming, I decided it was time.

Since high school I've been all over Southern CA; UC Santa Barbara where I majored in English and physical education, San Diego where I got my teaching credential, and Los Angeles where I worked in entertainment, went into debt and decided to become a writer/bum. Last summer (2001) I worked for the Inyo Register to get some experience and then went back to LA to take journalism classes at UCLA. This summer I'm going to work for the Mammoth Times as their copy editor and spend time with the family. Both my sister and brother are living in Bishop. Eleana has two adorable girls and another on the way.

I, on-the-other-hand, am single and have no kids. Seems like it will be that way for a while, since I want to travel on Alex Whitman's airline passes (she's a flight attendant) for a while.

Alex and I still hang out all the time. We saw LeAnne Witherspoon (now Amoroso) in the bay area recently. Anyway, I won't go into too much more detail about my sordid life since hopefully I will see you all soon. I expect everyone to be there, especially those who may not want to.

With the reunion rapidly approaching I figured I'd send in a little information to let anyone interested know what I'm up to. After high school I went to school in Orange County and then spent some time working in Mammoth. For the past five years I've been living in San Diego, in the Del Mar/Solana Beach area. For a while Becky Stow lived just up the street from me but she has since left that life and moved to LA. Three years ago I started the process to become a flight attendant and began flying for United Airlines soon after that. I am based in San Francisco, but commute to San Diego because I love the beach life and warm weather.

I visit Bishop from time-to-time to see my mother who now lives in Big Pine. For the moment I'm single, without children and traveling the world. I travel to Australia, Shanghi, Oaska, London, Paris and all over the U.S. After Sept. 11, I was furloughed (laid off) for six months and recently got my job back, to fly the friendly skies again.

I still keep in touch with Becky, LeAnne Witherspoon, Kari MacClennen and a few others. I'd love to hear from anyone else. Looking forward to the reunion and catching up.

It is 2006 and I thought it was time for an update. I am still living in Folsom. I have a gorgeous view of Folsom Lake from my house. I recently resigned from teaching the fourth grade. I taught for 5 years in North Sacramento and I enjoyed it very much. I am hoping to return to teaching in a few years. I recently added another son to my family. That makes 3 boys for me! I have Riley 9, Jack 4 and Max 4 mos. I am very busy with boys. My oldest son is involved in ice hockey and I love it just as much as he does. My four year old is getting ready to start skating and play soccer. I hope everyone is doing well. Email me anytime.

Young-Weber, Darby - E-mail: edarbeew@cs.com

My goodness, I don't know what took me so long to find this web-site. I too was interested to find out where everyone was and is doing.

So many of us grew up together and it's nice to hear you all are doing so well. After graduation I attended Cosmetology school, graduated and worked for a salon in Gardnerville, NV near my family. I worked there for many years and decided I wanted to find another career. I enjoyed working in a salon, but the gossip just got to be too much. Ha, ha. So from there I started Court Reporting School or "Stenography", and will be finished in the next year. I will also finish Medical Transcription school next month and combine the two into what is called Steno-Scription and work for the courts.

I love the legal field and love a career where I call the shots and have plenty of time with my family at home. My husband, Adam, and I were married here in Reno and have a beautiful 6 month old son named Tristin. Wow, motherhood - what an awesome experience. So for the moment, I am staying at home with Tristin and also babysitting two other infants in between homework.

Adam is from Alaska and we intend on opening a Bed and Breakfast in the Kenai sometime in the next few years. His parents have a cabin down by the river and it is BEAUTIFUL! Adam and I are such "outdorsy" people and we love the statistics of AK. The mountains, weather, fishing, camping, siteseeing and the WILDLIFE! Oh my gosh, the deer, bear, moose, eagles etc., etc.

We are building a house here in Reno and it should be completed in October. So we are living in between and it sucks. :(

I too am excited to see everyone at the reunion; it's funny to think back to kindergarden and after, to all the memories. For me I vividly remember times when we were wee little ones in 1st through 8th grade with Brandy, Samantha, Jake, Ryan, Ken, Jesse, Scott, Wendy, Heather, Troy, Judy and many more people. I even remember my first kiss in FIRST GRADE behind the building next to Mr. Burgoyne's classroom with JAKE KIDDOO!! :) Too funny.

Well, can't wait to see you all, take care.

Since graduation I have spent most of my time in the United States Marine Corps. In September of 1999 I received an honorable discharge and was set loose upon an unsuspecting world. I tossed around several ideas and was on my way to the Culinary Institute of America when I was given a tremendous opportunity. I started to work for a small consulting firm in the San Diego area as an Executive Assistant and have quickly made my way on as a Senior Consultant. I am currently assisting Wells Fargo in making their Subprime Mortgage Division a little more profitable. I would love to hear from old friends.

Well since high school things have changed dramatically. In JULY of 1995 my mother died. After that I went to beauty school and received my license in California. Shortly after that I moved to Las Vegas. In June of 1999 I got married. I am now manager of a hair salon. No kids yet. Anybody from the class of 1993 can email me. (Dannel Carr) I would love to hear from anyone.

So glad that all of us proud BUHS alumni have a place to find each other now. It seems that many of you in the class of 1993 have really 'gone for the gold'.

I and my husband Brian are living in Bakersfield, CA. I really like it here. Thought he air is not as clear as Bishop, this place has the home town feeling that I love so much. Brian and I purchased a home here in 1996. In June 1999 Brian graduated from CSU Bakersfield with his Master's in Psychology. I have been working for a large healthcare organization called Bakersfield Family Medical Center. I have been there almost six years and I have worked my way up to Medical Records Lead and kind of assistant office manager for our site. I have been taking a few classes here and there, but now that Brian has finished his schooling I will probably go back at least in the evenings to get my degree in business and then ultimately I'd like to get a Master's in Healthcare Administration.

I am always trying to explain to my coworkers how wonderful it was to grow up in Bishop but I don't think they quite understand all the wonderful memories I have of BUHS and my home. Someday, Brian and I hope to return to raise our own family there.

No children yet. Still waiting for that day when we really feel that we can afford it (yeah right!). We do have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 3 goldfish. With a farm like ours, who can afford kids?

We travel back home to Bishop quite often. Usually for the weekend. My parents still live on Early Pond and Brian's mom and step-dad are still in Paradise.

My husband Brian was a graduate of BUHS in 1991.

I would love to hear from any of my classmates so feel free to write or e-mail me:

Good to read about all of you! This information is being submitted in March 2000. I now live in Greenville, SC after a long 6 years as a nuclear support systems mechanic in the US Navy. The good ship (aircraft carrier) was good enough to take me all over Europe. My Mediterranean resume consists of France, Spain, Greece, Italy, and Israel. I did do some middle east as well to tune of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates... I do not recommend a visit just in case you were wondering....

I met a wonderful woman while stationed in Florida during my nuclear training early in my Navy years. She is now my wife (Amanda) and my son, Keith Jr., just turned 4 years old in Feb. of this year.

I find enjoyment in restoring a car here and there.... who'd have guessed, eh?? I also take time on the weekends to ride the twisties of the beautiful South Carolina country side on a very fast Kawasaki ZX9R.

I now work here in Greenville as a technical product representative for Reliance Electric Company which is owned by the omnipotent Rockwell Automation.

Don't be shy.... email me!

I am back in San Luis Obispo (again.) In July, 2001 I was offered the position of Associate Director for AmeriCorps Mentors of San Luis Obispo so here I am. I like being behind the scenes and supporting folks who are helping out misguided youth. I enjoy this work a lot and am extremely glad I no longer work in county social services. I am now "mom" to a neurotic border collie named Pearl. We live in downtown SLO and have great times playing in the park and picking fights with other dogs (something we're working on.) Sister Stephanie is now married and living in Spokane, WA. Brother Dave is still in Sonora, CA with his girlfriend and their cat Lucas, who is Dave's best friend. Parents are in Sonora and Dad Brent is obsessed with Columbia (Jr.) College Basketball as the Assistant Coach. Not married, new car, shopping "problem", not in rehab, still wearing the nosering, not on medication, 2 tattoo w/ more on the way, and I finally cut my hair. Good times. Hope all is well with everyone.

I was recently home for Thanksgiving and ran into many people I haven't seen in years. There are so many more of you I'd like to see nor heard from. I'd love to hear from some of you especially Tabi Callahan.

Hi everyone, after several years out of school, I have started back again at UCD, this time double majoring in English and Genetics. I have a two year old son named Rowan, and another child on the way. My fiancee Joslyn is from Modesto, CA. She will be starting her masters/teaching credential next year. I hope to graduate in about two years and then go on to my doctorate, where (at this point) I think I'll be doing research on either aging or cancer. I wish more people from our class were on this list. Feel free to e-mail me if you want, I'll probably have my UCD account for a while and I promise to update this thing this time.

Disney, Rose - E-mail: Rckstr79@aol.com

After graduating, I lived in the Bay Area for a while, then back to Bishop, then to SLO where I went to school part-time and worked full-time. In April 2001, I had a beautiful daughter and named her Maya. I moved to Auburn (Sacramento area) to be closer to my parents, and also because the life of a single mom was a bit less romantic and a bit more expensive than I had expected. Once with my family, I started back at the school thing. In fall, I start at Sacramento state as a junior in Business/Accountancy and I hope to graduate in a couple of years. I'm living in Rocklin with Maya and, now that she's two, she's in preschool with lots of friends. She is my everything and life as a parent has been the most rewarding and humbling experience ever. I visited Bishop last year for the first time in several years, but I didn't really get to see too many people. Me and Dawn Durant are still inseparable (she's at CSUS, too) and I'm still really really ridiculously cool. Other than that, I'm just trying to accept the weather (big change from the coast) and enjoy the city life. I'd love to hear from any of you, especially those in the Sac area since it's kinda hard to meet people here. I hope you all are doing well. Keep smiling.

Fitts, Chris - E-mail: chrisfitts@hotmail.com

Well, well... I thought after reading these inspired summaries of where the world has taken us all that it would be easy to crank out my own highlight reel. Not the case... So let's stick to the facts:

After a much anticipated departure from Bishop, CA I went to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA to study Theater and Communications. I coasted through 2 years of school like a ping pong ball in a paddle parade and decided to drop out to explore more heartfelt interests. I started studying acting at the Freehold Actors Studio in Seattle and settled on a side career in the booming internet world. Prior to the big market crash of 2000, I left the internet business and Seattle and moved down to Los Angeles to explore my ever budding interest in film.

Since then I have been living in Hollywood, writing and directing short films and features. To date I have directed two short films and a play, and I've written two screenplays. My hope is to develop as many projects as possible to make a small yet distinct mark in the "industry,"... a mark that says *CHRIS FITTS* in big neon letters. (actually I would settle for just getting paid)

So that's it, I have a fantastic girlfriend, a fulfilling career, a nice tan, and still a lingering distaste for authority. If you ever feel the need to take a step back into the past, I would be happy to hear from you. Take care.

Hello. I am still living in San Francisco and things could not be going better. The last six months, however, have been very trying for me physically. At the beginning of May (2002) I flew to Stockholm, Sweden for a skin transplant. I had an allergic reaction to a dye in an article of clothing and found my skin deteriorating at such a rate that a total epidermal and dermal transplant was needed. This procedure is not practiced in the United States so I went to Sweden where a team of doctors specializing in burn victims performed my harrowing twenty-one hour operation. The skin donor was a formally obese man living in Oslo Norway. He lost an amazing 642 pounds and had 53.25 pounds of "spare skin" which was very healthy. His complexion is very close to mine so I look almost identical to how I did prior to my surgery. I have been recovering, which has been very painful as the skin tends to shrink, and am back to my normal life...with my new skin. Well me and my new skin hope to see many of you at the reunioun.

Take care...Chris.

Chien, Jason - E-mail: jchien1@yahoo.com

I can't believe college is over so quickly, after 4 years at USC, I graduated in May 2000 with a degree in Finance. After spending the summer looking for that perfect job and flirting with offers in New York and San Francisco, I settled on staying in Los Angeles. I accepted a position at Wedbush Morgan as a Correspondent trader and I can definitely say this is not a boring job. There is so much to learn and there are days when I feel my head is going to pop. There are days I wish I was back in Bishop for some good R&R.

Anyways I hope everyone is doing well and If any of you have some free time, feel free to drop me an e-mail.

Collister, Christopher - E-mail: cdcollister@yahoo.com

Been a few years since I left. Joined the Army and traveled the world. Got stationed in Germany for a few years. While there I visited alot of other countries; some because I had to, others because I wanted to. Met my wife of nine years in Germany also. After I got out we moved to Kansas, where she is from. Oh my god it is soooo boring here. No mountians, no hills, and very few trees...ugh. We have two children; Kathrine is eight and digs all kinds of sports, and Wesley is five trying to follow big sisters lead. My wife currently stays at home while I work at the Post Office in El Dorado, KS. We are trying to find our way to Oregon, my home, but I have to wait for a transfer first.

I am currently attending Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA, but will be transferring after spring semester 1999 to a location as yet unknown. I'm a theatre major, and have been involved in quite a few productions here. Most notably this summer I was asked to be a crew member for "All Under Heaven," a one woman play about Pearl S. Buck (a graduate of R-MWC) with Valerie Harper (Rhoda from the Mary Tyler Moore show). "All Under Heaven" later premiered Off-Broadway in New York. Ah, stardom and fame.

Lets see where to start? I've been stationed on the Lincoln for 2 1/2 years now up here in Washington. But while I have been on the Lincoln I haven't been in Washington very much. Maybe you guys heard that we went to war with Iraq ......? Well anyways my battle group happened to be the lucky group that got to extend our 6 month deployment to a 9 1/2 month deployment. But before that happened I got to see some really nice foreign ports like Sasebo Japan, while I was there I got the chance to visit Nagasaki which was one of the places that we dropped a nuclear bomb on. Interesting place. From there I went to Hong Kong great place for an electronics lover like myself. then on to Singapore. After Singapore it was time to go to the Persian gulf. we spent about 2 months out there before we pulled into Bahrain during Ramadan one of there holy holidays. Strange customs over there. We did our three months in the gulf then started on our long trip home stopping by Australia on our way back. We stayed in Australia for three weeks before we turned around and went back into the gulf to handle business. My second time in the gulf we did 112 days of underway time without seeing land...... think about that for a minute. That's almost 4 months a real long time to be stuck on the ocean. Well anyways we finally came home. the president flew onto our ship to give a speech. So I got to meet the president, something I will always remember. Its been about a year since we came home now and we are already getting the ship ready to go on cruise again. I will be off the ship in 2005 sometime and then I will be going to Denver to work on an air force base doing some stuff I can't really talk about because of the nature of my job. My wife an I plan on starting a family after she gets her degree. She has about a year and a half left. I will write more when I have time. feel free to email me.

Hello Everyone!!!

Since graduating I've been all over the world. I left Bishop and went to Saint Mary's College in the Bay area where I graduated, May 2002, with a BA in English. During those four years of schooling I studied abroad at the National University of Ireland in Galway. While overseas I had the pleasure of visiting six other countries: Scotland, England, Spain, France, Switzerland and Africa. All completely beautiful and amazing in their own way, but despite seeing so many places Ireland is where my heart belongs. So after graduation I headed back to Ireland to work. I've been back and forth to Bishop a few times since I've been working in Ireland and in August 2003 I'm headed for Australia to begin a new working adventure.

Cheers!

Well, the exciting news for me is that I'm engaged to the man of my of dreams!! It was destined to be... I met Richard Mares the summer of 1999, when I had returned from my freshman college summer break. To make a long story short, Richard had been vacationing in Bishop ever since he was kid and he was up with his brothers and Dad for the weekend. I was working at Amigos (of course) and the minute he walked through that door it was love at first sight. Turns out he lived in Southern California (about 40 minutes from USC) and a month later when I came back for my sophomore year we immediately started dated. I'm telling you its so crazy how life works out!!! Anyway, he proposed to me in Bishop (of course) July of 2001. Right now, he lives in Huntington Beach and I moved to Long Beach about 6 months ago. I graduate from SC May of 2002 (yahh!) with a Social Science Education Major and a Spanish Minor and will be starting a teaching credentialing program next fall. While, we've been together, Richard decided that he was sick of the business world and of his business degree, so he has started a teaching credential program too! We both want to have teaching jobs before we marry so we've set the date for sometime in June of 2004...I hope you all are doing well and living your dreams. peace and love- Mery

Banta, Derek - E-mail: SUPERCROSS99E@yahoo.com

Derek left for Lackland AFB, Texas, to begin Basic training for the United States Air Force in December of 1999.

He completed in late January 2000 and continued to Technical training at an Army base in Virginia. There he trained as a helicopter crew chief and completed at the rank of Airman First Class.

BBRRRRRRRrr... to his surprise, his first permanent station was to be at an Navy base in ICELAND!

July 2000, after a brief visit home first, he was off to serve his year term, adjusting to 22hours of daylight, and only four hours of daylight! Dereks job description, included working on the flight-line, in minus degree weather, as a helicopter mechanic/crew chief.

12 April, 2001, Derek successfully completed the KA85GP-22, Dedicated Crew Chief Course, 15 hours, 85th Group, Keflavik Naval Air Station, ICELAND.

Derek has now been "shipped" back to the states, and given a complete culture shock, transferring from Iceland to Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada!

He will continue to work as a helicopter mechanic/ crew chief there, and is lucky enough to now be only 4 hours from Bishop, and his family.
